Up to sixteen DMD-519 strain gage amplifiers can mounted in the DMD-519-BP rack adaptor. For smaller systems the DMD-519-CC carrying case will accept two amplifers. An unregulated ac to dc supply is internally mounted at the rear of the rack or case to energize all channels. Each channel has its own on-board regulators to provide voltage for the logic circuits, op-amps and bridge excitation. In this manner, a load fault to any module will not affect the remaining units. The DMD-519 provides all of the operating features normally provided in this type of instrument in addition to offering a switch-selectable auto-balance circuit as a standard feature.
