DP-F30 Ratemeter/Totalizer The DP-F30 Ratemeter/Totalizer accepts 3-30 Vdc pulses, dry contact closure, voltage, or milliamp inputs, and provides two stage
SPDT relay outputs for batch control. The display is fully scaleable for engineering units and may be toggled between batch
total, rate, and grand total. The linearization option allows the user to select up to 16 different K-factors over the input range for
accurate indication of non-linear signals. Other features include: 12 to 24 Vdc output for powering up flowmeters; pulsed
(.1 to 9.9 sec.) or maintained outputs; input filtering for dry contact closure (such as reed relays); local/remote reset enable;
supplies excitation for open collector or mechanical contacts; programmable for auto-reset of batch total (repeat cycles,
10 Hz max.); security lockout to prevent unauthorized changes; factored pulse output; analog output for rate or total.
(Analog output not available with square root -SQRT option.) The DP-F30 series indicates rate to 5 1 /2 digits and total to
8 digits, with program and count data stored for up to 10 years if power is lost.
FC-20 MASS FLOW/BTU COMPUTER
The FC-20 microprocessor based Mass Flow/BTU Computer is used with liquid, gas, or steam flowmeters to indicate
true mass flow by correcting for changes in fluid density. Or, model FC-20 can be used to calculate BTU flowrate for any fluid.
It features direct input of 100 ohm platinum RTD’s (E curve), and has an integral 24 Vdc power supply for powering up
pressure and flow transmitters (4-20 mA, 0-5 Vdc, or 0-10 Vdc outputs). For flow input, the unit can also accept 3 to 30 Vdc
high level square wave pulse inputs (field selectable). For outputs, the unit has a 4-20 mA output proportional to mass
flow rate and a TTL level pulse output proportional to mass flow total. Both outputs are fully scaleable. The FC-20 also
has a multi-function alarm and a separate flow rate alarm relay. FC-20 displays directly in engineering units, and stores
program and count data for more than 10 years if power is lost. For steam measurement, steam tables from 14.7 to 3200
PSIA and from saturation to 850°F of superheat are used. For saturated steam, a single temperature or pressure input can
be used. For gases, the ideal gas law is used. The FC-20 is fully programmable through its NEMA 4X-rated front keypad.
A five digit lockout code can be used to prevent unauthorized reprogramming. The FC-20 indicates up to six digits while total
is indicated up to 13 digits, after which the unit displays in scientific notation.
