The LVU-1000 ultrasonic non-contact transmitter consists of the transducer and state-of-the-art microprocessor-based electronics housed in a NEMA 4X enclosure. The LVU-1000 Series microtransducer has a 3 /4 " NPT mount for ranges of from 1 to 12 feet. It will fit into hard-to-reach spaces such as existing capacitance system installations. Its small size and high accuracy make this sensor ideal for all types of liquid level measurement as well as product runout. The LVU-1010 is ideal for tanks where size is not a limitation. The LVU-1010 has 2" NPT mounting threads and a range of 1 to 25 feet. A continuous 4-20 mA output as well as four alarm setpoints (adjustable in increments of 0.1" over entire span) are provided to satisfy a number of applications. Programming is done through a pair of pushbutton entry switches and an internal display. Multiple control parameters can be programmed to provide many complex control applications. The surface of the level being measured must be free of fumes, vapors, foam and the surface must be flat; the signal may be lost if any of these conditions are present.
