OMEGA can custom design many of its process controllers into a benchtop case, making an excellent choice for laboratory or portable uses. Each unit comes pre-wired with a heavy duty 3-wire fused line cord, fused output receptacle and convenient front panel power switch. For thermocouple input controllers, the new Universal input connector is used. This accepts either the standard round pin (OST, OSTW) connector or the flat pin subminiature style (SMP, SMPW) connector.

Units are available with standard mechanical relay output rated between 2.5 amps and 10 amps at 120 Vac (see individual controller page for specifications). The MCS case features a benchtop tilt stand that facilitates easy viewing of the process temperature. The tilt stand can also be used as a convenient carrying handle. The MCS case offers two top vents that allow heat to dissipate from the case keeping the internal case temperature lower.

For power other than 120 Vac, outputs other than mechanical relays, or other models or options, please consult Application Engineering for availability. Limit controllers CN2080, CN355 and CN375 are also available in the MCS case.
