The OM-550 series has been discontinued. Please see the HH610A or the OM-DAQPRO-5300 as possible alternatives or contact our Temperature Engineering department.
The compact, portable OM-550 datalogger is small enough to be held in your hand, yet has all the essential features of larger loggers. This simple to use, battery-operated unit can log up to five thermocouple or voltage channels, and output data on the 24-column thermal printer. A sixth non-logging channel is included for performing mathematical operations on any of the other channels. An integral RS-232 port downloads logged data to a remote computer for processing and storage. A data cache buffer provides transitory storage of logged data.
All of the functions and each individual channel of the OM-550 are programmable directly from the keyboard. These include: date and time, log interval, channel type (thermocouple or voltage), thermocouple type (J, K, T, or E), temperature units (°F or °C), engineering units, 50 or 60 Hz A/D rejection, output format, and calibration mode. For unusually long logging functions in remote or isolated circumstances, an optional external battery pack and charger is available.
