In-Line Electrodes
The PHE/ORE-5460 in-line pH and ORP
electrodes feature a flat self-cleaning
abrasion-free surface. When exposed to
turbulent flow, the resulting scrubbing
action keeps the electrodes clean. The
electrodes can be used in applications with
0 to 88°C (32 to 190°F) temperatures,
pressures up to 6.89 bar (100 psig) and a
0 to 14 pH measurement range (0 to 12
without sodium ion error). Having fresh
material sweeping past the electrode’s
surface improves response time as well as
accuracy, especially for the measurement
of oily waste fluids, lime slurries, flocculant
and emulsions. The electrodes accept a
cable assembly with a gland mounted in a
3/4", 1"or 2" NPT tee.
In-Line electrodes are ideal for relacing
existing threaded electrodes. They are
used in applications where flow can be shut
off for electrode maintenance.
The high temperature Acrylamide gel is
supplied as standard with the PHE-5460
electrodes. These are only available with
CPVC construction.

Temperature compensation is not required with ORP electrodes.
Electrodes must be mounted vertically and kept moist.
Order electrode and mounting assemblies separately. Materials of construction must be the same.
* Since April 2010 the cap on the mounting assembly was extended 1/4 of an inch, 1/2 NPT threads added for use when attaching cap to threaded conduit, and grip dimples were added for ease of use.
For 5% HF application, add suffix "-HF" to electrode model number, add $50 to price.
For low conductivity application, add suffix "-LC" to electrode model number, add $30 to price.
For ground loop interrupt Circuit, add suffix "-GL" to electrode model number, add $158 to price.
Mounting assemblies supplied with 3 m (10') of cable with BNC connector.
For non-standard cable lengths up to 15 m (50') replace the suffix "-10" in the model number with the desired length in feet, add $2 per foot to price. (Additional cost of $2 per foot applies to entire cable length).
