TPCK Series offers a complete calibration system for any thermocouple element up to 482°C (900°F). The TPCK kit comes
complete with everything
needed to calibrate your probes. Included with each kit is a NIST traceable RTD probe, high precision digital RTD thermometer
with 0.001°C resolution,
6-digit precision multimeter, hot point® dry block calibrator, TRCIII ice point™ reference chamber,
thermocouple reference probe assemblies, thermocouple millivolt vs. temperature reference tables,
thermocouple lead wire and copper jumper jack. Used in calibration or metrology laboratories, the TPCK series is ideally
suited to provide a practical solution for your calibration needs.
The hot point® calibrator allows calibration of thermocouple
and RTD probes quickly and easily. An integral RTD sensor assures high measurement accuracy and repeatability. Used in
conjunction with the built-in PID controller, exceptional stability of ±0.3°F or better is attained at temperatures up to 482°C (900°F).
The stabilizing block features two 1/4 in. diameter wells and one each of 3/16 , 1/8 and 1/16" diameter 6" deep wells.
By placing the standard probe (supplied with the TPCK kit) in the well next to the probe under calibration,
a temperature comparison is made.
The TRCIII ice point TM calibrator reference point cell relies on an equilibrium of ice and distilled, deionized water at atmospheric pressure to maintain six reference wells at precisely 0°C. The wells extend into a sealed cylindrical chamber containing the distilled, deionized water whose walls are cooled by thermo-electric elements. The reference wells are maintained at 0°C to within ±0.1°C or better and a stability of ±0.04°C for constant ambient. Supplied with the TPCK Series is a set which locates the thermocouple-copper transition reference junction at the end of an 1/8" diameter sheath for easy insertion into the TRCIII ice point® calibration chamber.
