Omega’s DPG409 Series incorporates a rugged 316 Stainless Steel enclosure that is designed specifically for wash-down, sanitary, and marine applications. The large backlit LCD display features 1' high digits that make reading at distances up to 10.7 m (35') easy. DPG models are available with integral standard or sanitary pressure sensors that incorporate highly-stable silicon wafer technology which is micro-machined to precision tolerances and then has strain gages molecularly embedded. Standard features include: internal battery or external DC power supply operation, analog output, and user programmable alarms. The wireless transmitter option allows for remote monitoring, chart recording and data logging. A variety of user-configurable options and settings include: update rate, dampening, units, backlight, and auto-off.
Free Software for Set-up and Configuration via USB connection as well as Charting/Logging Software and drivers for wireless data.

To Order the optional Wireless Transmitter add suffix '-W', add $100 to price.

NOTE: Models with wireless option are approved for use in the U.S., Canada and Europe only

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good pressure gauge/transmitter. Could be improved I bought several of these a year or two ago. They work well, are easy to see, and the face can be rotated 15 degrees or so in either direction to make viewing easier. Set up is very easy. However, there is room for several improvements: 1.) Add a jack or plug for an optional power supply. I bought a cheap 24 VDC plug in transformer and hard wired it to the gauge. Had to add a second M12 seal to accommodate the wires. 2.) For the absolute pressure versions (used in vacuum service), add optional units of 'torr' or 'mmHg'. 3.) Add a clip or holder for the magnetic dongle thing, or just use tactile or light buttons instead. The magnet hanging down sometimes gets in the way.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Problems We bought 3 DPG409 5.0KG-W. These are the wireless version. Our company has had nothing but problems. From the new batteries not working, to lapses in data capturing on a 4 hour test, one will randomly turn off. We have never had all three working at the same time I have sent units back twice and each time I received no updates and had to drag it back from customer service. I was excited to upgrade our facility and make it safer with no cords in walking paths. I not happy so far.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great until they broke. We purchased four of these gauges about two years ago. Two of which have been in continuous service. After about 1.5 years without problems on battery power, they are no longer reliable. They shut themselves off regularly unless you change the batteries every few days. We even tried direct wiring to a power supply, but even that didn't work. The gauges started flashing back and forth between on for a few seconds and then showed a black screen for a few seconds. Based on some of the earlier reviews (6 years ago!) it seems like this issue has been around for a while. Very disappointing that such expensive instruments seem to break almost as soon as they are out of warranty.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent for wireless transmission This is a decent product for a ~300 ft range. Pros and cons: - Easy setup, clearly see screen, 4-20ma option, antenna included, free software and recording. - No good for heavy/constant rain (extra cover needed), $250 calibration, not compatible with newer receivers.

What is the operating Relative Humidity Range for the DPG409-100G Pressure Gauge?

Asked by: zxcv
If you are humidity of the environment the DPG409 has NEMA-4X rating. 100% humidity would be fine. It would even take a moderate water spray on the unit.

Does the 0.08% accuracy apply for both the 0-1 and 0-5 psi gauge type sensors and is this full scale accuracy?

Asked by: loganj
Yes, It applies to both 0 to 1 PSI & 0 to 5 PSI ranges. It is full scale accuracy.
