Nice size and design: however doesn't work Bio-MedLiked the size and overall design. Found the battery door hard to open. This was purchased for a Bio-Med shop. Tested unit on centrifuges that you tach through a window. We have Hamilton Bell V6500 centrifuges tinted plastic impossible to get a reading. Then tried on a Beckman Coulter clear plastic window very hard to get reading knowing what I should get, this model display tach is very accurate. Very disappointed it is hard to find a non Laser tach. Have been having problems with the new PT 99 from Monarch not rugged have had a lot of failures compared to older model. Think we will stop looking a live with the Monarch.
what should I do if the "ON" is blinking on the screen, I already tried to press the power button but nothing happened.

The meter has 3 modes which shut off the power differently so refer to the user's guide section 3 and 4 for turning off if not in measurement mode. If still a problem contact Omega's Temperature group at temperature@omega.com.
