The OM-DVCV is a self-contained, precision AC current and AC voltage Data Logger.

The OM-DVCV can record voltage up to 600 Vac and current up to 300 Aac. The OM-DVCV records true RMS AC current and AC voltage. It measures RMS signals up to the 21st harmonic at 60 Hz. The OM-DVCV can store up to 21,672 points when recording both voltage and current. It can store up to 43,344 samples when recording only voltage or only current.

The OM-DVCV features a display that allows the user to see measured current, voltage and power (in Watts). In addition, the unit graphs the current and voltage that has been logged during the current logging session. A summary screen shows information about the logging session, such as the logging rate, the number of samples recorded, the length of the recording and the amount of time left for recording.

Easy-to-use Windows software is included with the OM-DVCV. The software is a full-featured program that allows you to set-up all data logger functions including sampling rate, logging duration, start mode, logging mode, and high and low alarm values. Once data has been logged, the program then allows you to download data from the logger, plot the data and export the data to an ASCII text or Excel® file format for further analysis.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Functional and easy to use This is a compact unit that can be placed inside most industrial enclosures and out of site for data logging purposes. We collected data over a seven day period and was very satisfied with the results. The set is very intuitive and the data can be exported to a .XLS file and manipulated into several types of reports.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value! I have used this for logging equipment loads for 24hrs a day for a full week now. It is simple to set up and activate. It is a really nice unit for the relatively inexpensive cost. The output of data is easy to import into Excel for manipulation and plotting. the unit's internal plotting is a decent instant visual if you are mainly observing trends. I would buy this again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value -- easy to use surprisingly easy to set up and export data to excel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Logs data in steps of one second or more. It does work as advertised. I had hoped to use it to catch a "glitch" in a circuit but unless it last for more than a second it won't catch it. Need a much more expensive scope meter for this application.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Suitable for Incoming Service This unit has one amp clamp. You will need to purchase two units if your intent is to monitor A and B phase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Communication problems Trying to obtain a 30 day reading of a panel. Setup both meters two weeks ago to start logging upon activation of the start button. Went to check today, loggers did not activate. Took about 20 minutes to reset due to constant communication problems between the logger software and the loggers.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Almost perfeclittle logger This logger has the features and software that is easy to use and the loggers are a easy to set up. One thing it needs is more memory for longer duration. I'm logging emergency branch circuits that need 2-10 second intervals for 30 days for engineering purposes. This unit does not have the capacity for that many points of data. Now I am having to swap loggers ever 48 hours for data and open the electrical cabinet every two days. This increases my risk of arc flash exposure etc...It would be nice if the spec sheet online listed the data point memory so I could determine if the logger was suitable for my application.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor From the box, it would not connect to my computer. I had to send it back. After a week, they confirmed that there is an issue and they plan on sending me a new but I wont receive it for another couple of weeks. Not to mention I had to pay for my own shipping.

Hello, the time between my process's "voltage events" will often exceed 1 hour. Is the logging capability still active in the background after the Power Save shuts the unit off after 1 hour? Is the logged data saved once the On button is pressed next?

How is this connected to 240v wiring? Do I need to order something besides the data logger itself?

Asked by: aecurios
The unit comes with a current clamp and leads with alligator clips for the voltage channel.

We have a OM-DVCV data logger which we are attempting to access with the supplied software to download the data. However I have attempted to access the data logger with two separate computers but neither have been able to find the data logger. Help

Asked by: Giulio
Typically reinstalling the drivers as administrator will fix this issue. Please unplug the logger from the computer and close the software. Right click on the software icon and choose open file location. On the USBdriver folder, right click on the USBDataLogInstaller and select run as administrator.

I would like to capture spikes that are > 300V, for 400ms, on 220V grid. 1. Are samples trigger by a threshold voltage ? 2. Is there a maximum volatage logging ?

Asked by: Elia
Thank you for your question. This is not a transient logger and will not capture spikes. It will only will log AC voltage at whichever interval you choose. Please download data sheet for details.
