The AQM-103 is designed to measure CO concentration and air temperature with visible and audible alarms. This CO monitor is an ideal instrument for indoor air quality (IAQ) diagnosis and HVAC system performance verification.
CO is a common byproduct of the combustion of fossil fuels. Carbon monoxide or CO is a colorless, odorless and tasteless gas. Due to this fact, it is very hard to detect the presence of CO in your environment. It is, however, imperative that the CO levels are carefully monitored. Even at relatively low levels, CO is poisonous because it rapidly accumulates in the blood thereby depleting its ability to carry oxygen. Extreme cases of CO poisoning result in death.
For healthy adults CO becomes toxic when it reaches a level higher than 35 ppm (parts per million) with continuous exposure over an eight hour period.
SPECIFICATIONS Carbon Monoxide Measurement Range: 0 to 999 ppm Accuracy: ±5% of rdg or ±10 ppm whichever is greater Resolution: 1 ppm Temperature Range: 0 to 50°C (32 to 122°F) Accuracy: ±0.6°C (1.2°F) Resolution: 0.1°C (0.1°F) Memory Capacity: 32000 readings Storage Temperature: -40 to 70°C (-40 to 158°F) Interface: USB Dimensions: 110 H x 108 W x 28 mm D (4.33 x 4.25 x 1.10') Weight: 165 g (5.8 oz)

It's OK.As delivered it said even fresh outdoor air was @ 25ppm CO. After re-zero-ing, it now says indoor air is between 0 and 15ppm CO (constantly wandering in this range, even if our furnace and gas stove are completely shut down). It is not quite as accurate as I was hoping for.

Accessory AnnoyingI bought this because it is readily available albeit a bit pricey. Although it is shown with mating connectors, THEY DON'T COME WITH IT!!! I got it fast but can't use it.

Low turn on currentI use these as solid state relays with the NI 9403 5V TTL DIO module. The problem I have always had is that the module only outputs 2mA per channel. These DR-IO modules let me go directly from the TTL signal to a 3A 208V powered device. If I need more than that I can used them to turn on a larger relay. The internal fuse make them a great space saver too.

OM-CP-OCTTEMP2000As usual the software is very glitchy and slow...virtually unusable. Documentation is not up to date.

Works but all thermocouple types must be the sameThe datalogger and software is simple enough to use and the software for this datalogger is better than some of the other software omega provides for other data collection devices. It does exactly what is needed, log data.
The major disadvantage of the 4 channel data logger is that all of the channels must be the same thermocouple type. It does not state anywhere on the website, the specification sheet or the manual that all the thermocouple types must be the same. Only after purchase and looking a little deeper, I only found the only place that it was mentioned that all thermocouple types must be the same was in the quick start guide. Now I need to purchase new thermocouples so I can log data from all my thermocouples.
What wireless receiver will work with the MWTC-D-J-915? For some reason I thought the receiver would come with it.
Asked by: Wells
Hello Wells, receiver is sold separately. You can take a look at the MWTC-REC1-915 or MWTC-REC5-915 for your consideration:

Is the NIST Cert to ISO 17025?
Asked by: Temperature_user
Unfortunately, as of right now we cannot provide 17025 calibration, but we are working towards offering that in the future. Thank you for connecting with Omega.
