Description

The CN132-Series digital microcontrollers include all the features of standard 1/4, 1/8 and 1/16 DIN microprocessor controllers, in a very small package.

The CN132-Series features advanced Autotune PID. Autotune teaches the controller the main characteristics of the process. Autotune learns by cycling the output on and off. The results are measured and used to calculate optimum PID values which are automatically entered in the controller memory. Optimum cycle-time is calculated by Autotune programs. The choice of cycle-time is influenced by the external switching device or load, e.g., contactor, SSR, valve. Each control parameter also can be set by the user through the front keypad.

These units include program security in a hidden level for authorized personnel.

Is it possible to control/interface with this Controller remotely? Primarily, can I toggle the Process control on and off remotely (after setting up, in order to repeat testing); then can I adjust settings or params remotely (or re-run Autotune)?

Sorry, the CN132 doesn't have this functionality. Our Platinum series can. They have a USB port for direct connection to a PC. What is the temperature tolerance of the controller?

how do you set the shut off and the on range currently burrn cycles off 5 degrees past setting and comes on 5 degrees below the setting thank you ron

The heater I need to command accepts up to 12VDC power input, I have one 12VDC power line. Is the CN132 able to command such heater? My idea is that the CN132, powered at 12VDC injects the right current into the heater and get the temperature feedback.

Hi Fabio, Thank you for the inquiry. CN132-12V is powered by 12 VDC. The unit does not provide 12 VDC output. Unless you have a very small load of 10 to 20 watts I would recommend to use external solid state relay capable of handling DC power.
