Exactly what was needed! We have had this unit installed and working with a MS Access database that reads the Temp / RH on a timer and prints it on the calibration certificate. Working perfectly so far!

Easy Temp/Humidity LoggingI bought this temperature/humidity probe for our physical testing lab and attached it to the USB port of a PC attached to a test instrument running in lab ambient conditions. The probe was easy to install after downloading Omega's software and logs our testing conditions but I had to get help running the software. Omega's data logging team was able to help.

Great product for awesome price!just bought this product a week ago and couldn't be more pleased. The usb and software makes using this device so easy and just requires downloading the software. The data is very very easy to copy and paste to excel. The software's plotting program is not the best but is good for a quick view of whats going on. 100% would recommend and I already thinking about how I can buy more sensors from omega... seriously so easy to use.
What is the cost of recalibration for this sensor?

Hi,
I like to incorporate this device into a system that's controlled by a set python code. Do you have the class to communicate and commands to read temperature and humidity?
Thanks,
John

Can this probe recover from condensation?
Asked by: NickBuner
Hi NickBuner.
If the condensation dries clean before any corrosion builds up, it may survive. Suggest to dry quickly in warm dry air.

do you have examples of using the telnet commands in visual basic? I have VB code that reads USB via Rs232 converter and want to automate a process. Do you have example code not using telnet?
Asked by: Dann
Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately that example code is not available. Here is the command reference for that unit: ftp://ftp.omega.com/public/DASGroup/products/RH-USB/RH_USB%20Command%20Reference.pdf
If you need further assistance please send a note to das@omega.com for more details.
