Paddlewheel Flow Meters

Paddlewheel Flow Meters are important devices used in a variety of industrial, commercial, and laboratory applications. These meters measure the flow rate of liquids and operate based on the principle of a rotating paddlewheel placed in the path of a fluid.

Omega Engineering boasts a wide range of paddlewheel flow meters that can handle a variety of environments – including holding up to corrosive fluids. These devices offer precision, accuracy, repeatability, and low power consumption.

The all-PVDF FP5100-Series flow monitoring systems are especially useful for maintaining safe transport of highly corrosive acids. The FP-5200 features Omega's patented "open-cell" rotor for increased linearity at 1% over the full dynamic range of 1.6 to 20 fps, with negligible head loss. Battery-powered indicating flow meters can display rate of flow, total or both on a 6-digit LCD display. For industrial water flows, hard-to-handle corrosive solutions, and high purity fluids, the FP7001A paddlewheel flow and temperature sensor is an ideal choice.
