The CN700 Series thermocouple FM approved high limit controllers provide audible alarm status along with a robust 15 amp relay output. Unit allows the user to easily select automatic or manual reset along with 10 other parameters. The CN700 series has a built in reset button on the front panel or can accept an external reset. The ease of programming and low price make the CN700 series the best value limit control on the market.

If the unit is powered through a circuit, and the relay activates an EMO switch that powers down the same circuit, is the circuit going to be stuck open?

Thank you for your inquiry. The controller relay output will only keep its alarm-state when powered-on and the alarm set point is reached or exceeded.

the NC relay output measured closed for continuity with no power applied -- as soon as i applied 120v to power supply connections the NC went open?

Thank you for your inquiry. These are programmable controllers which have the relay switch states based on the conditions that the user selects in the programming.

What is wired into pins 3&4 (Input)? Is this simply a relay contact to kill the power to my process?

Does the CN700 110 VAC models support power line frequency up to 400 Hz?
