Gallium & Germanium Statement
The Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) issued a press release on July 3,2023, introducing new export controls on metal Gallium and Germanium and its related compounds. These materials are of critical importance in the semiconductor manufacturing sector.
Effective August 1,2023, Chinese exporters of Gallium and Germanium are required to obtain an export license before shipping these materials internationally.
DwyerOmega is committed to ensuring that the products that DwyerOmega designs, manufactures, assembles, and supplies, either: a) do not contain Gallium or Germanium or b) do not have supply chain issues related to these export restrictions.
