OMEGA SMPW thermocouple connectors are mini size flat 2 pin TC connectors designed to connect temperature sensor instrumentation and a temperature controller or process control HMI automation panel. Male 2 pole TC plugs and matched female 2 prong TC jack pairs are stock items.

It's a connector. Easy to install.
It's easy to install, no need to wrap wires around a screw, this has a metal piece you insert the stripped wire under, and then just tighten the screw. I wish other Omega connectors such as the MPJ series were similar.

Large industrial installation with many thermo-couple controls, these little connectors allow easy testing when used with compatible digital multi-meters made for reading thermo-couple temperatures. Simply plug in and read the temperature.
