The HHAQ-104 is designed to measure O2 concentration, pressure, air temperature and relative humidity with visible and audible alarms. This O2 monitor is an ideal instrument for indoor air quality (IAQ) diagnosis and HVAC system performance verification. The HHAQ-104 features a remote probe and detachable soft in/out tube to reach air-ducts or where access with the probe is not possible.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use Found that this logger was very easy to use. The instructions were sparse, but adequate to run the logger. I was unable to update the clock on the logger with the correct date and time. It would update when running 'real time' output direct to computer, but would not log correct time when isolated from the computer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Instrument for the price and quick shipping I was pretty satisfied with the instrument when I received it and the quick shipping is no joke. I ordered at the beginning of the week I had it in my hands by the end of the week. The handheld came with the double tubing for the sensor, a soft case, power supply w multiple international style plugs, 6 AAA Batteries, a USB Cable and the user manual. Very easy to use and calibrate if you just want to compare to ambient air O2 levels. I haven't tried to calibrate with a standardized gas yet, but will try to update later. I would definitely purchase this again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Great For Remote Data Logging The portable tube does not read all 3 readings (RH, Temp, and O2 %) it reads only O2 %. Due to this the tubing cannot be used to easily take measurements at a location a few feet away from the meter. Instead the entire handheld device must be inserted into the area for reading accurate data. Also the datalogging function seems to not be accurate for the time stamp. I set it up, returned a few days later and there was data points with timestamps in the future, calling question to all data.

is these equipment made in Canada? Also if it need calibration are capable of calibrating and providing certificate of calibrations and how long does it take? I am in the Greater Toronto Area

Asked by: Mario Orellana
In regard to your inquiry, it is not made in Canada and unfortunately, there is no NIST option available. Omega can supply a Certificate of Conformance, or CAL-1, which is free of charge.

I want to hook this unit up to our medical air system which runs at 50psi. I want to look for variation in oxygen levels in our medical air. Strictly for troubleshooting purposes and not certification. Would this unit be suitable?

Asked by: LondonDave
No. This meter has no pressure rating. 50 PSI will hurt the meter.

Can this sensor be used as an oxygen depletion sensor in a room where liquid nitrogen dewars are stored? Room size is 13x14x11 feet and contains up to 4 dewars containing 250L each.

Asked by: Application Engineer AMB
Thank you for your inquiry! The HHAQ-104 should be suitable for this application as long as the appropriate operating conditions are maintained

I have a system in which oxygen/nitrogen gases are being mixed and are released in a small tubing into plastic bags. Can I put the probe of this monitor into the tubing to monitor the % of oxygen that is flowing from the tubing?

Asked by: ilevin
Thank you for your inquiry! Unfortunately, based on the description of the tube the HHAQ-104 will likely not be well suited. The probe will likely be too large to fit as needed. If this is not the case then the remaining parameters pose no issue to the units operation.
