Omega’s new DPF20 Series of indicators offer real flexibility for measurement of a wide range of frequency or pulse inputs. Multiply, divide and preset values

Counter Reset, Stop or Continue
Power up delay
Allows for a delay in the start-up timeafter powering the instrument. During this time the instrument performs no measurement or control. Ability to reset the display count on instrument start-up.
Select from 5 levels of LED intensity.
Password protect the configuration menu. This blocks access to the instrument set-up parameters, but the operator can still access set-point values.

The fast and simple way to configure a sensor. Select from a predefined list Eg. NPN, PNP, Namur, pick-up, inductive, etc. The instrument will automatically configure the required parameters for the selected sensor (pull-up / pull-down resistors, trigger level, excitation voltage, etc)
Simple selection of the optimal trigger level for the sensor input. The display indicates up or down reflecting the status of the input signal level. When the LED changes state continuously the optimal trigger level has been achieved.

Could a DPF20-HV-AO display be setup with an FTB-1400 series flow meter to measure flow rates? The flow meter has a magnetic pickup sensor producing a 30 mV/P-P signal.

I have a DPF20-LV, I was testing the functions and added a password. Now 3 months later I do not recall what that password was, How to I break the pass to get into the unit to see the setting and scaling I used or worst case how do i reset the whole unit.

I am looking to verify that a panel meter such as the Item# DPF20-HV-R1-AO could be used to read/calibrate the output of a rotary encoder such as an AU-ZBG model.

Thank you for contacting Omega Engineering. Concerning your inquiry, yes the DPF20-HV-R1-AO is compatible with rotary encoders such as an AU-ZBG. It will convert the pulses from the encoder to a speed value, that will be displayed on the screen.
