OMEGA’s DP20 series new universal panel meter delivers high performance in a 1/8 DIN size for panel mount, and integration in a wide range of applications. The DP20 accepts universal inputs, including thermocouple, RTD, process (mA & Vdc), resistance, and true RMS voltage and current. By configuration, it will work as an AC and DC voltmeter (up to 600 V) and AC and DC ammeter (up to 5 A) offering application flexibility for process control and industrial requirements. A single universal power supply allows this unit to be suited for global use.
Introduce Omega DP20 Series The optional relays, analog output, and Modbus® RTU serial communications provide customization, control and communication capability. Additional features of the economical DP20 panel meter include scaling, NEMA 4 (IP65) protection, and programmable decimal points.

Nice meter for the price
My application was to display rpm on a mill, where the speed control produced a 0-10v signal that corresponded to 0-4500 rpm. The DP20 was easy to program for that use and works well. Be aware the case is very thin, and the clamps are plastic so it's not as robust as you might be used to.

Does the job but ...
I may be a bit dense about these things, but I found the nested menu/push button configuration complicated. In the end I got the scaling and alarms set up as I needed, but I'm not sure I could explain how I did this. But, in the end it works well as advertised.

good display
liked the easy installation. easy to program with only three buttons. easy to see display from a distance. the plastic bracket was a bit flimsy but it did the job.

A step backwards in quality.
Much lower quality than the now discontinued displays we would get from Omega. The bezel feels like it's going to break when (you must) take it off. Has to be exactly right, in order to put back on. It may have some more features, but the enclosure is really poorly constructed. I feel for the person that would need to deal with this on-site in a dark, dusty basement. The unit is setup with a hand-full of PCB jumpers. I though that we had evolved beyond that in the 90's. I have not tested the dubious-looking panel clamps.

Do you sell the small Blue retainer clicks separately? Our had gotta brittle and the meter doesn't mount well. If you do, please post a part number. Thanks Jeff at Teledyne Marine.
Thank you for your inquiry. Please send your request to sales@omega.com

Can the relays switch DC? The manual only mentions up to 250VAC. I would be switching 24VDC
The only rating for the relays on the DP20 is for 250 VAC at 8 amps. There is not any DC Voltage rating.

Hi, I have an omega DP20 meter, question, is it a need to drop a transient voltage suppressor across my signal inputs to protect against voltage spikes or is the DP20 capable of handling such an occurrence? Thanks
Thank you for your inquiry. Voltage Suppressor is not required for voltage input signals.

I have a failed NEWPORT IDP-0/E and was wondering if this would be an equivalent replacement when used with an input of 4-20 mA. Meter is only used to display values. Also can this be used outdoor exposed enclosure?
Thank you for your inquiry. The DP20 would have to be in a weatherproof enclosure to ensure long-lasting use.

I can't seem to figure out how to scale the signal to have numbers AFTER the decimal point. I am using an externally powered PX119 set up for 4-20mA. I am measuring psi from 0-30, and I would like the display to read 9.45 psi rather than just 9 or .09 etc
Dear AdamB, thank you for contacting Omega Engineering. For scaling the DP20 to read from 0.00 through 30.00 psi, assuming you have the wiring and the internal jumpers correct, keep pressing the little square button, till you see "SCAL" , you will see DP (Decimal Point) : Set the decimal point in the middle, so XX.XX . Your D.Lo should be 00.00 and D.Hi should be 30.00. You should then be reading from 00.00 to 30.00.

Does the DP20-S1 come with the female screw terminals included?
This unit has a terminal block with jaw-lock screw terminals.
