Product Specs

The CT87P pressure recorder is a versatile instrument that accurately measures and records pressures. The remote sensor has a 6' long cord and a 17-4 stainless steel pressure port with ¼NPT threads. Burst pressure 2500 psi rated for any gas or fluid compatible with 17-4 stainless steel. Battery backup assures normal operation during power interruptions. The unit can also be run from any 12 Vdc source (auto or marine).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never use them! We bought four of them. None of them is working satisfactory. Pen is vibrating and very thick line is generated. Actual reading is difficult to find out. It uses black pen and chart lines are dark brown, so you can not visualize properly actual reading line. It stops recording in between and again start during week cycle. I would never use it again.

Can it be used to record water pressures of a water distribution pipe?

Dear Hilo, yes you may as long as the pressure is within the operating pressure range, also this is rated only for steady static pressure.
