Product Specs

These RTD Probes are similar to our PRTF-10 immersion sensors except for the addition of a transition and strain relief spring. Manufactured with 100 ohm Class B DIN platinum thin film elements, these sensors provide a lower cost option to our 'PR' line of RTD sensors and can be used in a wide variety of applications.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Have to monitor quality of sensor location in RTD If you have a stringent need for the platinum sensor to be located within one half inch of the tip, this may not be the RTD's for you. After testing many of the RTD's we get from OMEGA, it was clear that the sensors were not located in the tip of the RTD. Since we need this to be a strict criteria for our process, we have developed a way to test where the sensors are located within the sheath. Although they did replace the faulty sensors, it is the inconsistency of quality that has driven our need to find a better product elsewhere. If you need them for general purpose and do not need the sensor in the tip, these are great sensors that last a long time under harsh conditions.
