The HX200 is a high accuracy calibrated dew point or humidity transmitter. The remote sensor is designed to work at temperatures as high as 200°C (392°F). This high accuracy sensor is also built to withstand up to 750 psi. These transmitters are perfect for applications such as compressed air, dryers and environmental chambers.

works great in extreme environmentsThis instrument is more accurate than all of the other brands we have tried. It works great even through a high vibration environment where others fail

Works Great!Just finished installing yesterday, easy set up. Being used in Dew Point mode, and switched over via internal dip switched. This unit is loop powered, so it will require a 24vdc separate power source.

Good productUsing 4 to monitor dew point in compressed air system. Using a rs232 to ethernet comverter to pull data into database. Works great.
Improvements to get 5 stars
1. Make the sensor replaceable by adding a plug
2. Replace power plug with a 5 pin m12 so you do not have to drill a hole in the housing to get serial communication out of unit.
Any examples of coding using RS232 protocol?
I want to collect data using LabVIEW. However, the sensor is updated every 5 seconds, and displaying an NO response error for the other 4 seconds. I want to see examples written in LabVIEW or other languages.

Thank you for the inquiry. Unfortunately we do not have any code examples for the RS232 protocol.

How is the RS-232 connection made? I would like to record the data from this sensor on a computer.
I also have a current input module on a DAQ board, could the data be recorded that way?

Hi Paul A,
Thank you for the inquiry. Manual shows the RS232 connection. But it will be easier to use the mA output with your DAQ system. With this family of sensor you have either RS232 or mA output but not both.

Our probe for this unit has been damaged. Can the probe be purchased separately?

Hi Greg A,
Sorry to hear of the difficulty. Unfortunately the sensor of this unit is not replaceable in field.
Best regards,
