OMEGALUX™ rope heaters apply heat to tubing with diameters as small as 1/8' (3.2 mm). Featuring a maximum allowable operating temperature of 482°C (900°F), the FGR series rope heaters can be wrapped around either conductive or non-conductive surfaces. Each end terminates with 24' (610 mm) long fiberglass insulated lead wire. These rope heaters are very similar to our heater tapes. Please review our tape heaters for your application needs.

Good product
These heater ropes are ideal for small bore tube, they heat quickly and are very flexible which is good for complicated tubing layouts. Just be careful not to pull it too tight.

What is the expected lifetime of the OMEGALUX™ Rope Heaters FGR-030?

It is an application dependent product. There is not an expected lifetime specification for our rope heaters.

Hello, do I just plug this into a wall? Do I need to buy something else as well to make this heater work?
