Silicone rubber heaters have a wide range of industrial, commercial, and military applications. These heaters are resistant to radiation, moisture, compression set, weathering, vacuum, fungus, oils, solvents, and chemical attack. Thus, making them ideal for use in applications where reliability, cost effectiveness, minimum cross-section, resistance to deterioration, and basic flexibility are critical.
Protect liquids and viscous materials from cold temperature: Ideal for use on various sizes of drums, pails, and adhering to the sides of metal condensation tanks to ensure liquids and highly viscous materials remain above their freezing point. This will prevent blockage and improve flow and ability to drain liquids and viscous materials at colder temperatures.
Prevent condensation: Silicone rubber heaters can be used in any enclosed space to avoid condensation. For example, electronic device enclosures are prone to condensation, which can destroy electronic equipment. When combined with a temperature sensing thermostat, a silicone rubber heater can ensure ambient temperatures remain stable and condensation is avoided.
Prevent corrosion: When condensation builds up on the walls of large storage tanks or hoppers, corrosion can occur. Silicon rubber heaters can be adhered to the walls of tanks or hoppers to keep the surface temperature above levels where moisture will form.
