IEC Color Codes availableOMEGA’s self-adhesive thermocouple temperature sensors have now been expanded to include the popular miniature connector with our patented spool caddy. The spool caddy provides a convenient way to store the thermocouple wire that is not needed for the application.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sticky as Maple Syrup. When the surface is cleaned and prepped properly, these will stick to just about anything. Be careful contaminating them with your finger tips -- usually can only get one good use out of them before they lose their tackiness which is to be expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Review of Surface Thermocouples Nice quality device. Each TC was individually wrapped. The connector end has a professional looking strain relief on it. The only thing that might be an issue (and it could be either a positive or a negative), is the connector itself is sealed. On the one hand, users can't get into it and mess up the connections. On the other hand, if something does go wrong with the connections inside the connector, it isn't easily repairable and may not be repairable at all requiring the replacement of the device.

Are these thermocouples suitable for an outdoor application? Specifically installation on the back of a solar panel for extended periods of time (> 6 months).
