These thermocouples can be used in outdoor and wet environments, including bright sunlight, with little to no effect on performance or accuracy. Our unique construction techniques provides a fast responding thermocouple junction in a thin and flexible mounting pad. These SA3 thermocouples are available in 2 styles, stripped #30AWG solid leads, or with a miniature color coded connector.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from fragile, thin wire and insulation, not robust Fragile, thin wire and insulation, not robust. One wire broke after first use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from adhesive did not stick to stainless steel poor adhesive. Did not stick to cleaned stainless steel surfaces. Had to apply anothe layer of fiberglass high heat tape to get them to stay in place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Self-adhesive thermocouples This tc serves its purpose well! Easy to install but you have to be very careful not to damage it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from False advertisement - very disappointed Even now you picture shows a thermocouple with a yellow connector at the end. I ordered the parts thinking that it was connectorized, but received the TCs with bare wire. Very disappointed in Omega.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love This Product! Works like a Charm! Need to attach these to a wax surface to go through an investment casting process and study how long the molds take to dry. These self adhesives work fantastic to stick to the mold and I would recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lab Test Works good in lab test and connects to equipment well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Super fragile - BE CAREFUL Yes they're conveniently sized and when they work they work well. I ordered 3 (because I needed 3). One of them broke in the adhesive/PI sandwich section. The actual sensor wire broke off where the insulated wire began. This boggled my mind because that joint is contained within the adhesive section and is effectively strain relieved - that's how weak that joint is. Ordering some new thermocouples to try out.

is it possible to have a connector that measures temperatures from -40 to 180 or whatever high tempoerature with these thermocouples or there is just a connector from -26 to 180 as mentionned.

Asked by: moun1992
Thank you for your inquiry! Often, the T/C connectors aren't rated for the same temperatures as the thermocouples they are connected to, this is fine. However, the T/C connector type should always match the T/C type.

What is the accuracy of these SA3-T Type?

Asked by: TC Help
Thank you for your inquiry. For Type T Thermocouple Temperatures above 0°C; ±0.5°C or ±0.4% of the actual value (use the greater of the two tolerances)
