The CL3515R is a portable calibrator/thermometer with a 4-digit LCD. It is designed to use external K/J/T/E/R/S/N/L/U/B/C type thermocouples as temperature sensors. OMEGA™ offers a complete selection of thermocouples, or we can custom-design parts to meet your specifications. The thermometer features a dual thermocouple input and an adjustable thermocouple offset. The thermocouple types comply with the NIST monograph 175, revised to ITS-90 standards.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from OK Quality 2 channel calibrated unit We bought this because it is calibrated. Seems susceptible to EMI. The HVAC system combined with other adjacent CE compliant test equipment cause this to fail the self test. Other thermometers and test equipment do not fail under the same conditions. It is good that it reports the errors, but it would be nice if it was more robust. Good tech support to identify EMI as the cause.

I would like to see more documentation on the capabilities and how to use them. What I have seen thus far is a bit lacking for me. I haven't had the opportunity to play with it outside of performing my calibrations. However, it is great for my calibration needs

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive Accuracy I have purchased 3 of these over the past couple of years for training customers on properly performing SAT's and they work great. They are every bi as accurate as $2,000 calibrators we have used in the past and they handle a wide range of thermocouples.

There are 2 outputs, but they do not seem to be independent, they both put out the same signal. The temperature logging is kind of confusing and it is easy to get stuck in an unknown state. It also beeps very loudly each time you press a button.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor first impression, no OEM support available Of 3 new units we received, 2 were found to be out of tolerance in various ranges, the 3rd one very close to 100% tol. Can't get them adjusted either, since within Europe Omega no longer offers service for this model.

How do you change take the unit out of REC mode?

What is the tolerance of the NIST-Traceable Calibration Certificate with 7 Data Points (Included)? I need to stay within +/- 3 degrees Fahrenheit.
