Rated 5 out of 5 by from works great in extreme environments This instrument is more accurate than all of the other brands we have tried. It works great even through a high vibration environment where others fail

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great! Just finished installing yesterday, easy set up. Being used in Dew Point mode, and switched over via internal dip switched. This unit is loop powered, so it will require a 24vdc separate power source.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product Using 4 to monitor dew point in compressed air system. Using a rs232 to ethernet comverter to pull data into database. Works great. Improvements to get 5 stars 1. Make the sensor replaceable by adding a plug 2. Replace power plug with a 5 pin m12 so you do not have to drill a hole in the housing to get serial communication out of unit.

The manual indicates serial communications are possible but does not show the pin out to connect a cable. Could such documentation be added to the manual?

Asked by: cppmonkey
It's been one year and this still hasn't been added to the manual. As well, it's very unclear if the power connection can also be used to receive the 4-20 mA signal. The manual is poorly written.

Do you have the spec sheet showing the dimensions of this item? We would like to use this for our carbon capture system and would need the dimension details to include it in our CAD drawing.

Asked by: AGCQ
Thank you for the request. Please forward this request to TEMP@OMEGA.COM. Best regards OMEGA

Can the HX200HR be adjusted if the measurements are off? e.g. ours is reading 77.9% at 80%

Asked by: calibratingjo
Thank you for the inquiry. Calibration is performed via pc connection at the factory. 27 points are stored in the processor. This item needs to be sent in for calibration. Best regards OMEGA

How is the RS-232 connection made? I would like to record the data from this sensor on a computer. I also have a current input module on a DAQ board, could the data be recorded that way?

Asked by: Paul A
Hi Paul A, Thank you for the inquiry. Manual shows the RS232 connection. But it will be easier to use the mA output with your DAQ system. With this family of sensor you have either RS232 or mA output but not both. Best regards OMEGA
